    Heidi Chan grew up in the world of eyewear, then trained as a womenswear designer in London. Returning to her roots, she started Heidi London and launched her first sunglasses collection at London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 - setting out to bring a new fashion twist to the eyewear brand.

    Heidi designs sunglasses for sun, fun and fashion lovers. Feminine silhouettes with a contemporary quirky edge, fun colours, unique use of print and innovative use of material - wear them from the city to the tropical beach, from sunrise to cocktail hour.

    All of Heidi London's sunglasses are handcrafted and fitted with UV protection lens, and finished with Heidi's signature on the side of the temple.

    Animal-friendly, Cruelty-free
    • Vegetarian company that does not use leather, skins, fur or feathers in any of its collections or products
    Sustainable Product Design
    • Designs its products to last and withstand many wears over the years

    Ethical and Sustainable Production / Manufacturing

    Manufacturing and Production Processes
    • Sources 1-25% of its raw materials and labour with local, independent suppliers
    • Outsources part of its manufacturing to Italy and China
    • Manufactures its collections and products in limited quantities, avoiding mass production
    Waste Management and Recycling
    • Optimises its design and production (e.g. pattern cutting etc.) to minimise fabric and material waste

    Fur-free

    • Does not, and has never, used any and all types of animal fur in its collections or any products

    Personal and Social Commitments

    Good Corporate Governance
    • Fair pay: All employees and subcontractors are paid the local minimum and/or living wage

    Handcrafted, Artisanal
